Every group in Scouts is encouraged to abide by the promise and law of that group.
Code of Conduct
In scouts we are often out and about as a small or large group representing 1st Elwood Scouts in our uniform. We provide you with the code of conduct we expect from our Group members. Please consider this code when representing our group.
Welcome Pack for New Families
The 1st Elwood Scout Group warmly welcomes your family into our Scout Group and the Scouting community of Bayside District. We look forward to a long and happy association with your family. You should always feel welcome to participate with your child in our activities.
Our Scout Group is an integral part of the Elwood community. Scout Groups are formed and maintained because parents believe in the benefits and teachings that Scouting has to offer and want to make it available to their children. You can view lots of information welcoming you to scouting here.

Adult Support
Scouts is synonymous with adventure. We are often out on excursions or camps and adult support is essential. As a parent or carer we need your help every so often.
