The Cub pack meets every Thursday night from 7.00 pm until 8.30 pm. Cub Scouts is for anyone aged 8 to 11 years of age. Cub Scouts all help each other and try to help other people too. Each week you’ll get together with other boys and girls your age and be led into an adventure!
There are games to play, skills to learn, places to see and new friends to meet. They wear their Cub uniform and collect special badges like Bronze, Silver and Gold Boomerangs and Achievement Badges.
All Cub Scouts are encouraged to make friends and to do their best at whatever they try and to help others to do their best’ also!
Cub Scouts work in a small group known as a Patrol have much fun doing many exciting things. They spend weekends away together camping and exploring, learn about bushcraft, going to sports meetings, visiting the zoo, the museum or the fire station.
Cubs get the opportunity to learn many useful things that will help them when they move up to the older Scouting sections, as well as throughout their entire lives.
There are so many things that Cub Scouts can do. When you join Cubs, you need to be ready for adventure, excitement and serious fun!
